As 2023 draws to a close, it’s time to get our financial lives in order for the New Year so we can kick-start 2024 with as little financial stress as possible — and set some savings goals for ourselves.

Having a credit card and using it to build credit and to rack up rewards like cash back and travel bonuses can be a wonderful thing. When we don’t pay our credit cards off in full every month and end up carrying a balance from month-to-month — the debt can add up in a hurry.

Members First celebrated CU Kind Day along with 76 other credit unions across Michigan on October 9th. This year’s celebration marks the 1st anniversary of our Little Free Libraries.
