Changing our logo and refreshing our brand is part of a strategic decision to ensure that our community understands what makes Members First distinctive among financial institutions. We believe that telling our story in new ways will give people a better sense of who we are, raise awareness, reach people who don’t currently know us, and attract new members who appreciate our value to their wellbeing and to the community.

We selected a look and feel that is vibrant and memorable. We want to make it easy for people to remember who we are and that we are committed, first and foremost, to serving our members. They are #1 in our purpose and mission, and our actions reflect that.

All our core services remain the same. Specifically, our website address stays the same, checks and debit or credit cards with the old logo will still be accepted, and the member service we are known for will remain top notch and evolve as our members’ needs change.  

The refreshed brand signifies our continued dedication to community support and involvement. We will seek opportunities to demonstrate that commitment, especially telling the story of how we can help people who are underserved or who have not felt welcomed by other financial institutions. We will also reinforce our commitment to financial education and community development.

Our staff and members frequently talk about the joy they feel when they are achieving their own financial goals and helping others do the same. We encourage our members and celebrate with them at each milestone along the journey. We are optimistic, enthusiastic and positive as an organization—and positivity is the way we move forward in offering the kinds of products and services that help our members and community grow.

This brand refresh, with a new logo, gives us an opportunity to let people know how special and different we are, and to stand out from other financial institutions. We are being more vocal about what we are doing, more loud and proud about what our focus is here at the credit union. As we grow into new communities and attract new members, all of our members benefit by being served by a strong and recognized credit union.

Our team is diligently working to ensure a seamless transition. We have a carefully planned timeline, comprehensive communication strategy, and dedicated support to ensure our members feel comfortable. We’ve been planning this for a long time, and will be replacing letterhead as we normally would, and swapping out signage that is aging.
