Around the office lately, I’ve been saying, “My credit union dreams are coming true!”

I have always believed a credit union is more than a place to bank. We are a place where you feel known, supported, and empowered. A place where people helping people creates thriving communities. I am seeing that vision come to life in meaningful ways.

Second, I am honored to have been chosen by my peers to serve as Chapter Chair for the Mid-Michigan Chapter of Credit Unions! This role means a great deal to me because the chapter is filled with mentors I have been learning from for the past 24 years. When local credit unions work together, we become an impact multiplier for the people and communities we serve. My inspiration fire is fueled as I look ahead to the continued exciting impact we will make together.

The final dream come true I’ll share in this note is seeing our team recognized as financial coaches. At M1, we have built a culture of financial coaching, and I am proud that more and more of our community partners are seeing us as a trusted resource.
