Josh Buck Named Young Professional of the Year

6/4/2026

Members First Credit Union is proud to announce that our Network Administrator, Josh Buck, has been named the 2026 MCUL & MCUF Young Professional of the Year by the Michigan Credit Union League.

This statewide recognition honors outstanding credit union professionals under the age of 35 who are making a meaningful impact by strengthening service, expanding access to financial opportunity, and advancing the credit union mission across Michigan. Recipients are recognized for their leadership, collaboration, advocacy, and commitment to cooperative principles, as well as their contributions to their organization, the industry, and the communities they serve.

At Members First Credit Union, Josh plays a key role in our IT department ensuring members have secure, reliable access to the digital tools and systems they depend on daily. His work helps deliver a seamless member experience while supporting the technology foundation that powers the credit union.

“I’m incredibly honored to be named Young Professional of the Year,” shared Josh.  “This is an award I’ve admired for years, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to do meaningful work every day. I appreciate the people who have supported and challenged me along the way, and I’m proud of the impact I’ve been able to make.”

Beyond his role at Members First, Josh is active in the credit union movement across the state. He supports young professional development through FUELmi, serves as Legislative Representative for the Mid-Michigan Chapter of Credit Unions, and contributes to community impact efforts through his role with Children’s Miracle Network.

Together, these efforts reflect his focus on connection—strengthening the link between technology, advocacy, and service to better support members and communities.

Josh's work continues to help shape Members First Credit Union as a trusted community partner committed to access, education, and opportunity across Michigan.
